I love the way buses and trucks are personalised and painted up in the brightest of colours. They are marvelleous. It puts our with their adverts to shame! In Cambridge for instant oen rout to oen Park and Ride is Green, the other Park and Ride is Red etc - comparatively boring! I remember, I think it was in Samoa, seeing one which was dedicated to Bon Jovi!
ReplyDeleteBut I worry about the condition of some of the vehicles. M reckons that even scrapyards in the UK would refuse to take them. The tyre in the photo has a large chunk of rubber ripped away from the bald tread. And it really did belong to a petrol tanker. Give me the trains anyday, much safer than roads!
